How long does the build process take?
It depends on a variety of specific circumstances but, as a guide, we aim to execute the build to completion within four to six weeks.
What do the buildings cost?
Prices are always strictly upon application but we believe our creations are among the very best in the world, so they are not available at the inexpensive end of the market.
Are the buildings a good investment?
We believe your investment will retain its value to your property for generations into the future and are supremely confident in that.
Do the buildings require maintenance?
Yes, a little, but no more than any other type of dwelling. The exterior should be painted twice over every five year period and exterior wooden panelling should be changed every ten years to remain perfectly pristine, though SpaceMan will happily carry out the refresh charging only cost.
Our policy is to retain a strong relationship and communications with the owners of all our creations in order that you, the proud owner, will always get the very best out of the building, so we will be in touch with you at regular intervals to ensure that all is well.
Does the building come with guarantees?
Yes, many guarantees, depending on the specification of the work. But structural, roofing, electrical and plumbing work are all guaranteed and insured with many and varied specific guarantees come from the manufacturer of the many products fitted to your new annexe.
Does SpaceMan offer financing?
We’ll be delighted to guide you to some of our finance connections who will provide fantastic industry-standard rates though SpaceMan has no in-house finance facility currently available.
Is it a dirty, noisy, smelly process, eternally cursed with upheaval and pain?
No. There will be a couple of dusty days, of course, and usually only a day or two of drilling but, for the most part, the work is executed inside an existing building (the container) so most of the usual construction stuff is largely, y’know, contained.
